NYRDA is a professional performing arts academy that is conveniently located in downtown Angier, just across from the park. NYRDA offers classes in all forms dance, gymnastics, fitness and musical theater. Group and private lessons are available for age 2.5 to adult. Private and small group classes are also available in ballroom and couples dance. Theater character development, vocal and pageant coaching is available. Wedding and competition choreography is available, along with professional musical mixing and editing. The artistic director, principal instructor and owner has 40 years experience in professional performing arts with credits in NYC, Nashville, Miami and Boston. She has national experience in dance education, competition judging and professional choreography. In addition to her dance education, she minored in vocal performance and maintains several dance ,gymnastics personal training, and fitness certifications. At NYRDA we fuse dance, musicality, acting and fitness in all of our classes. This gives our students a unique understanding of the benefits mentality, physically and emotionally of performing arts. We offer both serious and recreational classes.
