The Chamber uses social media to share news and updates to positively impact our community.
The Angier Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for the content of any postings by third-parties on its social media sites. Social media communications that are threatening, inappropriate, defamatory, harassing or in violation of local, state, or federal laws or regulations are expressly prohibited.
Social media communications should not suggest or imply endorsement by the Chamber.
The Chamber reserves the right to remove any comments from its social media sites as it deems necessary.

Brief History of the Angier Chamber of Commerce

  • March 5, 1956 – A group of approximately seventy-five Angier citizens met for the purpose of organizing the Angier Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Tom Proctor from Fuquay Springs spoke on the work of the Chamber of Commerce and that the main reason for a Chamber of Commerce was to get the Town  people working together.
  • March 12, 1956 – The Angier citizens met again for the purpose of organizing the Chamber of Commerce. A motion was made to organize the Angier Chamber of Commerce, the motion was seconded, and the motion was unanimously carried.
  • March 19, 1956 – The first Board of Directors was elected and Bylaws were adopted.
  • May 9, 1956 – The Angier Chamber of Commerce was incorporated.
