Pink Friday is coming to Angier on Friday, November 21st! Let’s celebrate and shine a spotlight on our amazing small businesses. Pink Friday is a nationwide movement that encourages everyone to shop local before the big-box rush of Black Friday. It’s all about supporting the heart of our community – our small business owners.
Participating in Pink Friday is a great way to boost sales, attract new customers, and show off the unique charm of shopping small. If your business is planning a sale or giveaway, we want to help spread the word! The Chamber will even swing by that morning with a bouquet of pink balloons to help you stand out and show that you’re part of the celebration.
Each participating business is asked to donate an item to the Pink Friday Giveaway Basket. Shoppers who make a purchase at your business on Pink Friday will receive one entry ticket per purchase for a chance to win the basket. The Chamber will provide the tickets and collect them on Tuesday, November 25th before the drawing.
Home-based small businesses, we’ve got you covered too! The Chamber will be open that day for you to set up and showcase your merchandise. Space is limited — we’ll only be able to accept 8 home-based businesses inside the Chamber, so be sure to register early. Home-based businesses will also need to donate an item (or items) to the giveaway basket.
To participate, you must be a current member of the Angier Chamber of Commerce. If you’re not a member, we would love to have you join us!
