Be The One 5k hosted by American Legion

The Be The One 5k, an event to raise awareness of veteran suicide, is scheduled for March 29th at Harnett Central High School (2911 Harnett Central Rd, Angier, NC 27501). Check In begins at 9:30 am. Runners may register at the following site:

The festivities will begin with the posting of the colors, the National Anthem, and speakers at 10:00 am. This will be followed with a “Lap of Honor” to recognize all veterans present. Then, the 5K will begin.
Entry for the 5K is $20.00 for non-veterans and free for veterans. Veterans should use coupon code VETERAN25 and should be able to show proof of service upon check in.
All veterans are welcome to attend and walk the ‘Honor Lap’ in recognition of their service.
