Celebrating Excellence

The 68th Annual Chamber Awards Banquet, held this past Tuesday night, was an evening filled with celebration and recognition. It was such a joyous occasion where the community came together to honor outstanding individuals and businesses that have made significant contributions to the Town of Angier. 

Congratulations to Carolina Trash and Septic for being selected as the 2023 Business of the Year Award winner. This award recognizes a business that has demonstrated exceptional growth, innovation, and dedication to serving our community. This small business has consistently demonstrated excellence in waste management solutions while also actively giving back to the community. Their commitment to both their customers and the community at large sets them apart.  Their commitment to excellence serves as an inspiration to us all and the Chamber is so happy for their continued success.

Congratulations to Jimmy Cook, former Public Works Director and current Project Manager,  with the Town of Angier for being selected as the 2023 R.H. Ellington Citizen of the Year Award winner.  This honor is awarded to an individual who has shown exemplary leadership, compassion, and a drive to make a positive impact on the lives of others. His selfless dedication to improving our community is truly commendable and we are grateful for his unwavering commitment.
