The Angier Chamber of Commerce is offering a North Carolina Notary Public class on July 24th and September 22nd. The class is 6.5 hours long, including a 30-minute break, and typically runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuition is $86 and must be paid in advance to Central Carolina Community College. Payment can be made by cash, check, debit, or credit card (except American Express).
Students must bring the latest edition of the NC Notary Public Manual, available at the CCCC bookstore in Lillington or from any source. To enroll, students must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, live or work in North Carolina, be able to read, write, and speak English, and have no criminal background.
To register, complete the Google form linked below. The PDF registration form will be emailed to the address you provide on the form, and you must complete it as part of your registration. Students should bring a state or federal photo ID to class, and may need to provide their Social Security number for the exam roster.
These classes are open to the community. You DO NOT have to be a member of the ACOC to register.
