DESCRIPTION:The Be The One 5k\, an event to raise awareness of veteran suicide\, is scheduled for March 29th at Harnett Central High School (2911 Harnett Central Rd\, Angier\, NC 27501). Check In begins at 9:30 am. Runners may register at the following site: \nhttps://runsignup.com/Race/NC/Angier/BeTheOne5K \nThe festivities will begin with the posting of the colors\, the National Anthem\, and speakers at 10:00 am. This will be followed with a “Lap of Honor” to recognize all veterans present. Then\, the 5K will begin. \nEntry for the 5K is $20.00 for non-veterans and free for veterans. Veterans should use coupon code VETERAN25 and should be able to show proof of service upon check in. \nAll veterans are welcome to attend and walk the ‘Honor Lap’ in recognition of their service. \nPlease come out and join the American Legion as they give back to those who have given so much.
