BECOME A MEMBER!

The Angier Area Chamber of Commerce is financed primarily by the investment of its members. Any business firm, individual, association, corporation, partnership or estate having an interest in the objectives of the Chamber shall be eligible to apply for membership.

Membership investments in the chamber are fully tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.

Please review the following classifications to determine which Investment Schedule to follow.

Our Chamber Memberships are priced at three levels:

Associate Member $50 Manufacturer or Industrial Services $300
Retailers, Merchants, Wholesalers, Restaurants, Grocers, Amusements, Transportation, Repair, Construction, Tax Preparation, Insurance, Computer Media, Communications and other services $125 Attorneys, Accountants, Health Car Provider (Medical Doctor, Dentist, Orthodontist or Ophthalmologist), Engineers, Consultants, Architects, and Stock Brokers $150
Hotels, Motels and Apartments $125 Banks, Savings and Loans, Finance Companies and Mortgage Companies $350
Non-Profit Organizations and Churches $50 Real Estate Agencies and Developers $200
Colleges, Universities, Technical Schools, and Community Colleges $150 Educational and Vocational Institutions Primary, Elementary, Middle and High School $50
Utility Companies $300 Towns and Municipalities $150
Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Rest Homes and Retirement Homes $10/bed
$450 max.
** As an incentive for owners of mulitiple businesses: You can enroll each business beyond the first business for just $50 each.  
Membership benefits include:
  • Exclusive Recommendations - When the Chamber Office receives a request for information on a certain product or service available in the area, only Chamber members are suggested.
  • Increased Credibility - Customers feel assured that Chamber members are reputable businesses working to make Angier a better place to live and work.
  • Monthly Chamber Newsletter - Contains information about Chamber events, community news, and upcoming activities of community interest.  An opportunity to advertise in our newsletter.
  • Member of the Week - Each week a member is spotlighted in the Angier Independent and the Chamber Monthly Newsletter.  This is a free service to our members.
  • Ribbon Cuttings - New businesses are welcomed to the Chamber at the Ribbon Cutting ceremony attended by town and Chamber officials and covered by the Angier Independent with a picture. (Free)
  • Membership Directory, Buyer's Guide, and Web Site - Listing in these directories is free to members. Additional advertising is at a reduced rate. Directories are distributed to all members, new businesses in Angier, newcomers to Angier, and new Chamber members.
  • Co-Op Advertising in Local Newspapers - Several times per year the Chamber sponsors co-op advertising in conjunction with special Chamber events (Crepe Myrtle Celebration, Christmas Parade, etc.) This is provided at a reduced rate for Chamber members.
  • Area Maps - The Chamber produces maps surrounded by paid advertisements for members. Cost is minimal. Maps are distributed to newcomers to the community and people and businesses inquiring about the area.
  • Members Only Table - At the Chamber offices you can reach potential customers through business cards, flyers, or other free items you wish to make available to the public.  
  • Annual Banquet - A general meeting of the entire membership of the Chamber where awards are given out in various categories including man and woman of the year.
  • Business After or Before Hours - This is a time to "network" with other members of the Chamber and to showcase your own business by sponsoring the event.
