The Angier Chamber of Commerce is financed primarily by the investment of its members. Any business firm, individual, association, corporation, partnership, or estate having an interest in the objectives of the Chamber is eligible to apply for membership.

Chamber Membership is advantageous to your business. Note the benefits listed on the back. Membership investments in the chamber are fully tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.

• Exclusive Recommendations - WWhen the Chamber Office receives a request for information on a certain product or service available in the area, Chamber members are referred first.
• Increased Credibility - Customers feel assured that Chamber members are reputable businesses working to make Angier a better place to live and work.
• Chamber Newsletter - Contains information about Chamber events, community news, and upcoming activities of community interest. Included as part of your membership, ads, at minimal cost, may be placed in the Chamber newsletter, which reaches 200 plus business members with each publication.
• Member of the Week - Each week a member is spotlighted as Chamber Member of the Week. The member is announced on Chamber website, through weekly e-mail communications, Facebook postings, as well as highlighted in weekly "Chamber Spotlight" in the Anger Independent. (Free exposure/awareness)
• Information e-mail blasts - Members receive updates of chamber events, member notices, community activities, etc.
• Free Promotions - Members may share news, events, promotions, etc. to other members by sending to the Chamber office for distribution.
• Ribbon Cuttings - New businesses are welcomed to the Chamber with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony attended by town and Chamber officials and publicized in local newspapers, on the Chamber website, email communications, Facebook, and Angier Independent 'Chamber Spotlight' article.
• Membership Directory, Buyer's Guide, and Web Site - Member listings are free in these directories to members. Additional advertising is also offered at a reduced rate. Directory information is made available to all members, new businesses in Angier, newcomers to Angier, and new Chamber members.
• Free advertising at the Chamber office - Members may set up a display table in the Chamber office for a 2-week period to highlight their business to visitors that come to the Chamber office.
• Co-Op Advertising in Local Newspapers - Several times per year the Chamber sponsors co-op advertising in conjunction with special Chamber events (Crepe Myrtle Celebration, Christmas Parade, etc.) This too, is provided at a reduced rate for Chamber members.
• Area Maps - The Chamber provides maps surrounded by paid advertisements for members. Advertising cost is minimal. Maps are distributed to newcomers to the community and people and businesses inquiring about the area.
• Members Only Table - Potential customers may be reached by placing business cards, flyers, or other free items at the Chamber office, which provides your business availability to the public.
• Educational Opportunities - The Chamber and CCCC Small Business Center and Triangle South Enterprises co-sponsor such seminars through free or reduced rates.
• Annual Banquet - This annual event is provided for the entire Chamber membership where various annual awards are presented, including Business of the Year and Man and Woman of the Year.
• Business Socials (i.e. After Hours) - This is an opportunity to "network" with other Chamber members and to showcase your own business by sponsoring or attending the event.
• Membership Plaque - Display your Chamber plaque so that all who visit your business will know you are a quality business and that you have made an investment in our community.
• Service - Members may be nominated to serve on the Chamber Board of Directors. Board Members serve a 3-year term and nominations are made annually based on the number of vacancies.
