Ambassador Recognition:

Ambassadors are a hard working, energetic group, who give of their time to assist the Chamber and business community.  A system has been devised to track Ambassador participation and provide opportunities of recognition for outstanding Ambassadors.  Each Club member will receive a name tag to wear to Chamber functions to identify them as an Ambassador.

Ambassador of the Year. Each year an Ambassador shall be identified as Ambassador of the Year based on their participation at Chamber functions and contributions to the Chamber and business community.  The recipient is honored at the Annual Awards Banquet and will be highlighted in Chamber correspondence (listed on the Chamber website, email blast to members, Angier Independent news article, FaceBook, etc.).  Once honored, the recipient is not eligible to win the award again within a 3-year period.  Other awards may be identified as the Club progresses. In which case, guidelines will be revised and all Ambassadors notified.

The Chamber staff will provide a sign in sheet at each Chamber function for Ambassadors to sign and serve as a recordkeeping identifier. The Chamber staff will keep track of this data and report recognition status to the Board. The Ambassador Chairperson is not eligible for any of these awards.

Ambassador Tenure:

Any member registered in the Club may remain a member for as long as he or she desires to do so. To remain in good standing, each Club member must participate in a minimum of 5 chamber events each year, in addition to attending monthly Club meetings.

Meetings:

Ambassador Club meets monthly. Scheduled meeting times will be determined and agreed upon by the participating members, the Chairperson, and the Chamber Executive Director noting a time which is convenient for the majority of the Club.

Meetings provide the venue for Ambassador feedback, suggestions, updates, and review of upcoming events.

Interested persons should call the Chamber for more information or to sign up to join the Ambassador Program.
